My Bio
I'm a Systems Engineer who took up photography as a hobbit to get out from behind my desk. I enjoy taking landscapes, wildlife, macro and astrophotography shots. I also enjoy buying photography equipment, but my wallet groans every time I do (seriously! :D). I'm not much of a photoeditor, so when I post a photo, it will most likely be unedited.

Well, 2014 was a busy year. On the plus side, I bought a house, got a nice bonus at work and a new project to work on. On the minus side, I lost my grandfather, my dog, two other relatives and had a health scare with my mom. Yeah, overall I'm glad to see 2014 go and I'm looking forward to a better 2015.
Hopefully I'll have more time for photography this year. I've missed getting out to take photos these past six months, and I can feel the rust building on my skills. I did make it to the Maryland Renaissance fair and I got back to the Calvert Marine Museum. The RenFair was fun, and I'm planning to go again this year, and I'm going to post a f

So this should be interesting... I'm a hobbyist photographer, and I semi-regularly post my work on the internet (emphasis on the "semi"). I used to use Flickr for my post, mainly as that's what my photography class I took a while back used. And then Flickr went and started requiring Yahoo accounts... (A), I need another email account like I need another hole in my head, and (B) Yahoo?!? I didn't like Yahoo in its glory days back in the 90s, and I still don't like 'em now. So bye-bye Flickr account.
Since I already had a deviantArt account I used to track favorites and view mature content, I figured I may as well post my pictures here. I hope
